TLI pioneered variety of solutions and methodologies for testing protective relaying equipment. Our unique expertise with transient testing of protective relays guarantees comprehensive and unbiased test results for specific utility applications. We designed testing software and hardware tools that allow for quick setup and automated testing leading to cost-effective test sessions. TLI was among the first to identify the need for application (transient) tests and expanded the acceptance evaluation concept to application testing that is now proposed for IEDs beyond protection. TLI is actively participating in defining the standard tests for PMU and PDC testing as well as performance and measurement evaluation of the latest substation multifunctional IEDs.
