Digital Simulator Solutions

With Relay Assistant™ we pioneered variety of solutions and methodologies for testing the protection equipment. We designed a test simulator that may be used both in lab and in the filed. It is a low cost solution capable of modeling fault events and replaying both simulated and recorded waveforms into the relays. It is particularly suitable for transient testing used in acceptance and trouble-shooting tests.

Laboratory Setup

• Allows testing of up to four relay test terminals in a lab configurations.
• Supports tests for multi-terminal transmission lines and differential transformer relays.
• Offers software support for testing protective relaying schemes including communications.
• Provides high power current and voltage with 150A and 250V peak respectively.

Low-voltage Field Test Set

• Represents low-voltage low-cost solution for field application tests and troubleshooting.
• Allows portable or fixed solution with expandable number of analog and digital channels.
• Enables multi-point back-to-back relay testing with external GPS synchronization.
• Offers small weight with custom packaging for easy transportation and use.

• Provides galvanic isolated interface for low power direct relay tests.
• Interfaces to third party stand alone and test-set embedded power amplifiers.
