TLI has a long experience providing solutions for handling variety of substation event data. Historically, its DFR Assistant™ product family was aimed at data integration from different DFR vendors including different models and vintages. Substation Assistant™ expands the data integration support beyond DFRs to digital protective relays and circuit breaker recorders.

Automated IED Data Analysis

DFR Assistant™ product family offers over 10 years of practical application of automated analysis of substation data collected by digital fault recorders (DFRs). Substation Assistant™ builds on the DFR Assistant™ technology and includes automated analysis of substation data recorded by digital protective relays, circuit breaker recorders and other IEDs that provide event recording.

Digital Simulators

With Relay Assistant™ we pioneered variety of solutions and methodologies for testing the protection equipment. We designed a test simulator that may be used both in lab and in the filed. It is a low cost solution capable of modeling fault events and replaying both simulated and recorded waveforms into the relays. It is particularly suitable for transient testing used in acceptance and trouble-shooting tests
