System Modeling Tools
This set of tools enables easier fault system modeling and testing. Batch Generator is used to create batch of ATP/EMTP files, Automated transient Fault Simulation is used to replay simulated files, and Transformer Fault Analysis is used to model faults and simulate related waveforms for power transformers.
Batch Generator
- Offers direct interface from Relay Assistantâ„¢ to ATP/EMTP simulation tools.
- Automates generation of test waveforms with variable parameters to create multiple test cases.
- Improves efficiency of waveform replaying with automated simulation.
- Provides graphical user interface for specifying fault parameters.
Automated Transient Fault Simulation
- Utilizes ATP/EMTP to model faults and simulate fault waveforms.
- Performs multi-relay tests for end-to-end or other multi-location configurations
- Automates batch test generation and creation of a test report.
- Generates multi-point voltage and current measurement data.
Transformer Fault Analysis
- Interfaces to EMTP/ATP and BCTRAN via simple wizard user interface.
- Generates model of a faulted transformer automatically.
- Simulates internal winding to core faults, turn-to-turn faults, and evolving internal faults
- Outputs new plug-in model of a faulted transformer ready to be used in EMTP/ATP.
